i stayed for two nights because of a wedding nearby. the bright, modern room had a super comfortable bed, also it included tea and coffee facilities with an iron. the food was really good and the staff were very friendly, really.
The hotel lacked a fridge in the room. This was a slight inconvenience for storing personal beverages.

the location is in the HEART of town, also near the castle. i found the hotel very central with good transport links available, very useful. shopping and restaurants are easily accessible.

the staff were very helpful and provided plates and cutlery when i brought in takeaway. my dog was made welcome with a bed and bowl. breakfast was great with many options.
the food in the restaurant was not kindly priced.
